When mailing your check, please provide your phone number, email address, and mailing address. In the memo section, indicate how you would like your donation to be allocated:

Fundraisers/Events

At least once a year, we host a major fundraiser like last year's "Fresh Paint," which features spirited silent and live auctions where attendees bid on African safaris, local getaways, dinners, and more. We also hold sales or exhibits throughout the year. Proceeds from these events cover our overhead—including staff, marketing, and general upkeep—and support special programming like Apprenticeships and ArtClub.

General Fund / Program Support

We ALWAYS need and appreciate funding support for our programs and projects. We presently operate our non-profit solely on small commissions, grant-funded projects, and donations from individuals in our community.

Any donation amount matters and helps!

Sponsor an Apprentice

Our apprentice programs are for youth artists, ages 14-21, who are mentored by our Lead Artists during sessions on a specific project. These young apprentices are paid. Your $300 contribution pays for one session gets you an exclusive insight into the artistic and personal journey through email updates featuring photos and video recordings.

One 4-week Session - $300

Two 4-week Sessions - $600

Three 4-week Sessions - $900

Four 4-week sessions - $1800

In-kind donations

Artstart accepts supplies and materials that can be used to support our programming and operations.

These are some examples of in-kind donations we can sometimes use:

TILES:

As of December 2025, we have an abundance of tile, and may not be able to accept more at this time. Please call to confirm.

ART SUPPLIES:

Paint brushes, paints, drawing paper, tracing paper, sharpies, etc.

PAINT:

We can often use leftover durable exterior house paints.

OPERATIONS:

Paper towels, rags, aprons, plastic storage boxes with lids, clear containers, etc.

GIFT CARDS:

Retail store gift cards, as well as online shopping gift cards are always welcome. Think Ace Hardware, Lowe's, Home Depot, Staples, Target, Sherwin Williams and Nova Paints.
