The painting "Joyous Journey" has been donated by Sonoma County Art Trails. All raffle proceeds will benefit Artstart. We are an award-winning non-profit with a mission to empower teens to explore their creativity and encourage them to engage with their communities, bringing beauty to the world around them.

This vibrant painting is collaboration of four Art Trails artists: Micah Schwaberow, Nicole Ours, Gen Zorich, and Michael Palace.
​
This painting began with Micah. When he passed in 2022, Nicole chose to continue the painting, Sadly, she passed 3 months later. Gen then completed the painting bringing her great healing and comfort. The frame on the painting was handmade by Michael, a furniture maker, from cherrywood. Making a beautiful
reconnection because a few years ago, Nicole gave cherrywood to him when she removed a cherry tree from her yard.
